What is ZecBit?
ZecBit is the first private NFT marketplace built on Zcash. It uses ZSA (Zcash Shielded Assets) to enable NFT ownership that is invisible by default.
How does shielded checkout work?
Every purchase settles in shielded ZEC. The price is known only to the buyer and seller — it is never visible on-chain to third parties.
What does “committed on-chain” mean?
Before any item is sold, its metadata hash is committed to the Zcash blockchain. This means you can verify the authenticity of any item independently, without trusting ZecBit.
How do I connect my wallet?
Click “Connect wallet” in the top bar. ZecBit supports Zcash wallets that implement the ZSA standard. More wallet integrations are coming soon.
Are my holdings visible to others?
No. Your portfolio is shielded by default. Nobody can see what you hold unless you explicitly choose to disclose it.
